EPS-TOPIK Exam Fee and What to Bring on Test Day
How much is the exam fee?
The EPS-TOPIK fee is set per country in each round's official announcement, usually as a US dollar amount paid in local currency. Verified examples (checked 2026-08-24):
- Nepal, 2026 first phase: USD 28, converted to Nepali rupees at the Nepal Rastra Bank rate on the day of registration (source: EPS Korea Section notice via eoers.epsnepal.gov.np)

Because the amount differs by country and round, always take the figure from your own round's official notice. The official application guide states the registration fee is 100% refundable only if you cancel during the registration period (source: epstopik.hrdkorea.or.kr, checked 2026-08-24).
Documents for application
- Passport (or national ID where the notice allows it) — your application name and date of birth must match it exactly
- A standard 3.5 x 4.5 cm photo, front view, no hat, taken within the last 6 months
- Fee payment receipt where required by your country's process
What to bring on test day
The official guide (epstopik.hrdkorea.or.kr, checked 2026-08-24) says to bring:
- Your test admission card (application card)
- The same passport or ID card used at registration
- A felt-tipped pen and a ballpoint pen (for paper-format rounds; CBT/UBT rounds may not need them — follow your admission notice)
What not to bring
- Mobile phones, smart watches, earphones and any electronic devices are banned in the exam room; being caught with one is treated as cheating and can invalidate your test
- Do not bring notes or books into the exam room
Arrive by the entry deadline printed on your admission card — latecomers are not admitted. Exact rules can vary slightly by country and test center, so read the instructions on your admission card and your sending agency's notice as the final word.
