In Nepal, EPS recruitment for Korea is handled exclusively by the EPS Korea Section (EPS Korea Branch) of the Department of Foreign Employment, located in Gwarko, Lalitpur. The official notice states that no private association, organisation, educational institution or individual is involved in the EPS employment process (checked 2026-08-24). Applications are online only, at eoers.epsnepal.gov.np.

2026 first phase — verified facts (checked 2026-08-24)

• Application window: 2026-07-27 to 2026-08-02 (11–17 Shrawan 2083), online at eoers.epsnepal.gov.np
• Total planned successful candidates: 7,200 — manufacturing 5,000, agriculture and livestock 2,000, Service I 100, forestry 100
• Fee: USD 28, paid in Nepali rupees at the Nepal Rastra Bank exchange rate of the registration day
• Format: UBT (tablet), conducted at the UBT Building, Bhaisepati, Lalitpur
• Eligibility: Nepali citizens aged 18–39, no criminal record, no deportation from Korea, no travel ban, under 5 years total prior stay on E-9/E-10, and no color blindness or color weakness
• Result validity: 2 years from publication; results are announced only after HRD Korea confirms them

How the process runs in Nepal

• 1. Announcement published on eoers.epsnepal.gov.np and in national media
• 2. Online application with passport details and photo, and fee payment as instructed
• 3. Admission card download, then UBT exam in Lalitpur on your assigned date
• 4. Language test result, then skills test (point system) for those who pass
• 5. Health check, document verification, roster registration, and the standard EPS steps to a labor contract and E-9 visa

Warnings for Nepali applicants

• Language institutes can teach you Korean, but they cannot register you, influence results, or get you an employer — anyone claiming otherwise is breaking the law
